EXPERIENCE:
Scott focuses his practice in the areas of estate and asset protection planning, business succession planning, probate, federal and state tax compliance and litigation, business transactions, franchising and nonprofit organizations. Scott’s client’s range from affluent individuals with complex estate planning and tax objectives to same sex couples with unique and sensitive familial issues. Scott also assists small medium size business organizations with their formation, procurement of equity and debt, and tax and operational matters.

Scott is originally from South Bend, Indiana, but has lived most of his adult life in the Toledo, Ohio area. Scott previously was a bank executive heading up the Private Client Group in Northern Indiana for the tenth largest banking institution in the United States overseeing all of its private banking, brokerage, investment management and trust administration activities. Scott is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and received special recognition for scoring in the top 5 in the world on the 1987 CFA examination.

Experience: Litigation in Ohio and Michigan regarding insurance coverage disputes, auto/transportation accidents, construction disputes, commercial litigation, employment law, intentional torts, arbitration disputes, i.e., AAA, premises liability, commercial and residential fire claims, insured fraud claims, product liability, declaratory judgments, OSHA matters, and environmental law.  In the past, Kent has defended and/or prosecuted cases to juries in Ohio and Indiana.  His practice has permitted him to actively represent clients in the Federal and State Courts in Ohio, Michigan, New York, and Pennsylvania.  Kent’s appellate practice experience has occurred in Second, Third and Sixth Ohio Appellate District Court of Appeals and U.S. Third and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Kent has spoken at many seminars in the last 10 years regarding litigation issues specifically addressing uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage and bad faith claims and employment law topics.

In his estate planning practice, Cory advises clients of all backgrounds on how to plan for their uncertain futures. His experience ranges from assisting clients looking to pass on their wealth to future generations to assisting clients in preparing for their future long-term care. Cory has experience drafting trusts, from simple to complex, and provides his clients with technical tax advise concerning Federal gift, estate and generation-skipping taxes.
In his business practice, Cory represents for-profit and non-profit entities in commercial business transactions. Cory has experience assisting small and medium size business organizations with their formation, asset purchases, leases, tax and other operational matters. EXPERIENCE:
For individuals and their families, and particularly for the affluent with their particular and complex wealth preservation and transfer issues, Dale focuses his practice in the areas of tax, estate, trust and succession planning.  For businesses, Dale focuses primarily on issues related to entity formation, transfer and succession; and on the various transactional issues in the legal, administrative, tax and regulatory environments impacting ownership and operation of the same.

Dale was originally from Toledo, but moved to Bryan OH in 1994, and to Lake Seneca in 2022 where he and his wife currently reside.  Dale was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in November 1991.  Dale left the practice of law in 2001, joining the then tenth largest bank in the United States, as Senior Trust Administrator.  In 2004, Dale joined a community bank in Northwest Ohio in the same capacity.  In 2014 Dale worked as a private consultant until joining Anspach, Meeks & Ellenberger LLC in September 2017. Presently, Dale is Of Counsel to Janson & Riesen LLC.
